The Mediation Center of the Pacific ("we," "us") offers its short-code text message service (the “Service”) to enable clients to receive notifications concerning mediation reminders and sessions. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy").

This Privacy Policy is entered into by and between you and The Mediation Center of the Pacific. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect from you or that you may provide when you use the Service, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Acceptance of the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

This Privacy Policy is effective with respect to any data that we have collected, or collect, about and/or from you, according to our terms of use, found at Terms of Service (the " Terms of Service"), which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not want to agree to the Terms of Use or this Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Services.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

No Collection of Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information about you through your use of the SMS text messaging service. We may collect information from you through our website, which is governed by applicable privacy policies appearing on the site. We reserve the right to delete any information we believe to be in violation of this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share your information with third parties for those third parties’ own business interests.

Security

If a security breach causes an unauthorized intrusion into our system that materially affects you, then we will promptly notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

You understand that electronic communications may be accessed by unauthorized parties when communicated across the Internet, network communications facilities, or other electronic means.
